Effective Employment Relationships Workshop
Brought to you by The Workplace Wellbeing Project. In 2009 we are running workshops throughout New Zealand discussing key issues relating to employment matters in community-based organisations. There are workshops being run in Hawera, New Plymouth, Masterton and Tauranga. We are also organising workshops for the second half of 2009 including Nelson, Kaitaia, Porirua East and South Auckland.
The focus of the workshop is on developing and maintaining effective and positive employment relationships for people involved in working or volunteering on boards and committees in the community. Covering such topics as: Employment Relations Act 2000. Governance and Management Issues in Employment Situations. Workplace Conflict. Performance Management. Mediation and Unions.
Mana Mahi, the new one-stop employment resource for community organisations, will also be reviewed at this workshop and all participants will receive a free copy.
