Easy Steps to Edit a Discussion Network or Private Workspace set-up

As an organiser of a Discussion Network or Private Workspace you can edit the set-up. You can change the title of your Discussion network or Private workspace, edit the description, and change your mission statement. Changes to how people join your Discussion Network or Private Workspace can be made. Each item is explained below.
Title
This is the name of your Discussion Network or Private Workspace. Think carefully before changing this as your members may get disorientated if the names changes, especially without warning.
Description
The description gives you a brief summary of your Discussion Network or Private Workspace. This field is pre-populated with the information you provide in your getting started form. This information will be publicly available.Website
Enter a website address if this community has a web presence other than CommunityCentral.Mission
The mission of your Discussion Network or Private Workspace tells members what the Discussion Network or Private Workspace is about. You can outline the goals of the Discussion Network or Private Workspace and any other information you feel should be seen readily. This field is pre-populated with the information you provide in your getting started form. This information will be publicly available.Membership Requests
Membership requests relate to how members can join a Discussion Network or Private Workspace. Please do not make any changes to this section without discussing it with us first.Open membership means that any member of CommunityCentral can join your Discussion Network by simply clicking join. This is for Discussion networks only.
Moderated membership means people can request to join your group. But, you as the organiser must approve this membership before they are allowed to access the Discussion network or Private workspace.
Invite only means that the organiser of either Private Workspace must first send invitations to people who can then choose to accept to join your Private Workspace.
Modifying any of the other settings may disrupt the functioning of your group. Please do not make any changes to this section without discussing it with us first.
Log Message
If you make changes to the Discussion Network or Private Workspace you can use the log message field to record changes made. You can place an explanation of additions or updates being made to help other authors understand your reasons. The log is only accessible by other organisers.Preview / Submit / Delete
Once you have made the changes to your Private Workspace set-up you have three options. You can "Preview" your changes, "Submit" your changes or "Delete" the Discussion network or Private workspace. Deleting your Discussion network or Private workspace is explained below.
Deleting your Discussion Network or Private Workspace:
As an organiser you can delete your group when you are finished with it. However we would prefer if you would contact the CommunityCentral Website Coordinator when you are finished using your Discussion Network or Private Workspace. We will complete the request for you. If you delete your Discussion Network or Private Workspace all the information will be lost.
